Merry Christmas to all! Ok it's a bit late but I've been pretty bad at updating lately. Just my life has been pretty uneventful. These holidays have been pretty anti-climatic. Christmas has come and gone.
Christmas-Eve-day I went to dim sum w/ Eileen's parents and Jaipo. My dad showed up a bit later with Sarah. 2 dollar dishes, but service was just so-so.
I spend Christmas Eve at Shopper's Drug Mart to pick up some Nyquil, and then begging to be let into Blockbuster's to pick up a movie (they were closing). I decided to rent the uplifting "We Don't Live Here Anymore". OK not uplifting, and SO not a feel-good kind of movie. It's another one of those movies that makes you NOT want to get married lol. Well, I actually thought the movie was really interesting and felt very realistic. Anyway, probably not a good holiday movie to see. Where's "Love Actually" when you need it?
Christmas day I went to see my grandma and the rest of my dad's family. It's tradition where we eat a big turkey late-lunch. Ate lotsa dessert. So funny cuz my 12 year old cousin loves Ty Pennington and Bill Rancic (SO old for her!). Well it made me think of me at 12....funny how things are....what was I thinking and going through at that age...?
Boxing day was spent at Eaton's Centre with Karen and Eileen. We're hardcore! Started around 11 and didn't leave downtown till about 5pm. We also went to Queen st. I bought stuff I really can't afford to keep. Ah gotta do some returns this week. Oh well..it was lotsa fun though. Someone tried to steal a chair fr/ our table in the food court. I didn't let them get away with that, "Like HELLO that chair was at OUR table!!!!!" People are vicious around food and sales-priced items!
K: "Meg Ryan is, like, perky, but she [Amanda Walsh] just seems slow."
I rented "Dawn of the Dead" and "Waking Life'. Dawn of the Dead - way more gory than I thought it would be. Hmm it was OK. Waking Life was interesting bu not the kind of movie you should see if you're sleepy. i.e. it's a "thinking" movie.
Today was spent shopping at Markville. I got my 3/4 length jacket but I think I have to either get a smaller size or maybe just a petite-version. If only I were a few inches taller...
I'm sorry, but I'm just thinking of the right words to say.
I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be.
But if you'll wait around awhile, I'll make you fall for me,
I promise you, I promise you I will.

I really need to get out of this house.
